Ever keeping in mind the dictum, "A healthy mind in a healthy body", Jawaharlal Nehru college for women has been to create a sporting spirit in the minds of students for a healthy society through systematic and scientific training to paying equal importance of Physical Education has an excellent infrastructure for sports and games. The sports infrastructure includes a good yoga centre, hall for Badminton, Chess and Carrom. The Jawaharlal Nehru college for women trains students for tournaments at State Level and all India inter university Level Competitions in the following outdoor games: Basket Ball, Ball Badminton, Cricket, Foot Ball, Hockey, kho-kho, Kabbadi, Hand Ball, Tug of war and Net Ball. The college also has a Non- standard 200 metre athletic track with the facility to conduct all the field events.
